Human Resource Generalist

With customers around the world and the United States, Bitrode is a World-Class Cell, Module, and Pack Battery Testing Equipment manufacturer. We offer an extensive product line of battery formation and laboratory test equipment, as well as software tools, battery simulation and manufacturing automation tools appropriate to all battery applications and chemistries. We are looking for a human resources individual to perform the daily functions of the department including recruiting, payroll, benefits, leave administration, enforcing company policies and practices, and file maintenance.

In order to do this role, you will need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources
• 1 year of experience in human resources preferred
• PHR or SHRM-CP a plus.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Assist with strategic projects as directed by the VP that will further develop the department and its support for Bitrode.
• Recruiting for open positions and performing hiring/onboarding process, including background checks, I-9s, and E-Verify.
• Process payroll with high level of accuracy in conjunction with system recorded leave, time off, and attendance tracking.
• Setup, document, and track training of both mandatory and non-mandatory, continuing education, and work assessments.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters up the chain.
• Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
