Quality Manager

Position: Quality Manager

Reports to: VP of Engineering and Quality

Scope of Role: Ensure Bitrode equipment meet company and customer specifications before being shipped off to the customer. 

Principal Responsibilities:

• Ensure the manufacture and delivery of product per customers specifications and expectations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001: 2015
• Reporting structure
  • Direct Reports: Testing Department Supervisor, Quality Assistant, Technical Writer
  • Indirect Reports: Testing Technicians 8.5 people
• Maintain and improve Bitrode Quality Management System
• Implement receiving and in-process quality inspections. The latter should ideally be done by operators.
• Reduce waste in manufacturing process due to rework from poor training, documentation and understanding of processes.
• Maintain data as it pertains to the corporations Key Performance Indicators/ Quality Objectives.
• Support new product development by facilitating use of quality tools such as Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Analyze in-process and final quality data for cost of quality and actionable improvements using quality tools such as Pareto Analysis, Cause and Effects Diagrams, etc. Create and track associated quality actions.
• Coordinate and conduct internal audits. Conduct supplier quality audits.
• Initiate and follow up on Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
• Other tasks as defined with manager in complete job description.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Quality management and engineering experience. Quality Engineering Certification through ASQ preferred. 
• Proficient use of Excel for data analysis, Word and Powerpoint.
